Running contacts on the dogwalk, built through understanding instead of repetition. The first three lessons on the ground.

Running contacts on the dogwalk, rebuilt from scratch or learned for the first time.
The goal isn't a memorized pattern but understanding: your dog should be able to adapt its footfall to the situation by itself. For that, you'll work with a target and with shaping.
The first three lessons take place on the ground. That keeps repetitions on the dogwalk itself, and the strain that comes with them, to a minimum.
Your dog learns straight descents as well as turning off, plus the basics of telling the dogwalk apart from other obstacles.
7 lessons: the first three on the ground, then at the descent, and later on the dogwalk itself.
The first three lessons take place on the ground, so you can start without any hassle. Later you'll need access to a dogwalk two to three days a week.
If you only have irregular access to a dogwalk, it's very hard to train solid runnings. In that case, think about stopped contacts instead.
If you're building the seesaw in parallel right now, don't start with runnings at the same time. My recommendation: finish the runnings first, then build the seesaw.

I have been doing agility for 23 years and have won 13 medals at the World Agility Open and the European Open. Agility Campus has been around for 10 years. In my courses your dog learns to understand what it is doing. Repetition alone is not enough for me.
